The semester was a great success. I attribute part of this success to the fact that I tried to become a minimalist. With that said, I was anything but successful at times.
In the beginning of the semester Sean helped me with my room. We tossed out all sorts of junk and left the bare necessities and some limited decorations. The clean room really helped in a lot of aspects. I spent less time shuffling through junk, and more time with friends. More time on homework and less time looking for misplaced papers.
By mid-semester the room was a mess. In some aspects, I was back to my old ways. At least I realized this though.
Move out proved once again how minimalism can calm ones life. Even though my room was a mess compared to earlier in the year, it was lightyears better than freshman or sophomore move out.
