Thailand Trip (Day 1 and 2)

Day 1:
Mom and Dad drove me to the airport today. We stopped at a Vietnamese restaurant in Ft. Collins, CO on the way. Left Denver at 3:00 Mountain and arrived in LA after 5:00 pm Pacific. Mike arrived at about 7:30 pm. While waiting I camped out at the interesting International terminal. Mike booked the car from EZ rental. They were low cost... the office was a trailer on blocks. Given the fact that it was late, they did not have a compact car, so we were "upgraded" to a minivan. LOL. We arrived at Aunt Carol's and Uncle Richard's after a drive across LA.

Day 2:
Visited Grandma this morning. She warned me about Thailand and showed me several maps. We also had a good chat about life and caught up. She was afraid that I will have to sleep on mats and eat strange food. Also, she is worried about malaria and weather, two legitimate concerns. I saw cousin Holly and Ryan after that and their kids Evan and Josh! Great kids with lots of energy. For lunch we had In and Out! Awesome! Cousin Heather and Franklin will come over soon and we will all eat dinner later.
